This offer direct from The Macallan Distillery not only represents a rare opportunity to own and discover a remarkable and unusual whisky, it also gives you the chance to buy the limited edition pack created by the master of ambiguity, Steven Klein.
Rare Cask Black is a Macallan with a surprisingly distinctive attitude, a whisky unlike any other Macallan today. Bottled at 48% ABV and non-chill filtered, it combines dried fruits, nutmeg, ginger and beautifully polished oak, plus dates, figs and raisins, heavy but sweet. A dry smokiness reveals itself, yielding to softer oak tones. The finish is long, fruity with an elegant wood smoke.
Fewer than 100 casks matured at The Macallan distillery have contributed to the creation of Rare Cask Black.
When it’s gone, it’s gone…
